Imran Khan also arrested in Toshakhana, Al-Qadir corruption cases

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 14 November 2023
Imran Khan, former prime minister of Pakistan, has been arrested by the country's anti-corruption office in two separate cases, namely the Al-Qadir Trust case and the Toshakhana gifts case. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) executed the arrest warrants after they were ratified by the Accountability Court Judge. Khan, who is already imprisoned in Adiala Jail in connection with the cipher case, will now be investigated by a NAB team while in jail. The cases involve the settlement of a large sum of money and the alleged hiding of proceeds from gifts.
