2 Nasa astronauts lost a tool bag in space. Earthlings may even be able to see it
Tuesday, 14 November 2023 During a recent spacewalk, two NASA astronauts accidentally lost a tool bag while performing routine maintenance outside the International Space Station. The bag is currently floating in space, about 250 miles above Earth, and is expected to remain there for a few months before disintegrating. Although the tools in the bag were not needed for the entire spacewalk, it is unclear what specific tools were lost. This is not the first time a tool bag has been lost during a spacewalk, as a similar incident occurred in 2008.
