Jailed Russian nationalist Girkin wants to run for Prez

Igor Girkin, a pro-war Russian nationalist currently in custody, has expressed his desire to run for president in the March 2024 election. Girkin, also known as Igor Strelkov, believes that Russia is on the brink of a systemic crisis and needs significant political changes. His supporters have confirmed that he has asked to be put forward as a candidate. Despite his arrest and pending trial, Girkin could potentially participate in the election as he has not been convicted yet.
