Gaza sanitation perfect storm for tragedy: United Nations

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 21 November 2023

UNICEF, the UN children's agency, has expressed concern about the potential for a mass disease outbreak in the besieged Palestinian territory. Without enough fuel, sanitation services could collapse, creating a perfect storm for disease transmission. The lack of water, poor hygiene, and limited access to sanitation facilities are increasing the risk of child deaths in Gaza.
