A man found guilty of the 2018 fatal shooting of a federal agent in Tucson has received a life sentence on Tuesday, authorities said. Ryan Phillip Schlesinger, 31, was absent from court during Monday's sentencing, during which his legal representatives advocated for a prison term shorter than 50 years.
