Pakistan gears up for Presidential election by March 9

Pakistan is preparing for the presidential election by March 9, following allegations of electoral fraud. The Pakistan Muslim League-N's Shehbaz Sharif is leading a six-party alliance and has nominated Asif Ali Zardari as the consensus candidate. Incumbent President Dr Arif Alvi continues to hold office until a successor is chosen.
