Two buildings damaged, people evacuated after 'incident' in Russia's St Petersburg, governor says

Two buildings in St Petersburg were damaged with blown-out windows, damaged balconies, shattered glass, and debris on the ground due to a loud explosion. Residents were evacuated. Governor Alexander Beglov confirmed the incident in the city's north-eastern district of Krasnogvardeyskiy. The cause and nature of the incident are unknown.
