After trying to ban it, Trump is now defending TikTok

Former President Donald Trump has reversed his attitude on TikTok, the Chinese-owned app that he originally sought to prohibit from the United States. His latest defense of the program coincides with a meeting with a senior Republican donor, prompting speculation about the reasons for his shift of opinion. Trump recently suggested that eliminating TikTok could inadvertently boost Facebook.
