It may sound like only a metaphorical tweak, but officials in the...

RFK Jr. Speaks About , Past Health Incidents , Including Brain Parasite.
CNN reports that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. offered his first public
explanation of a medical abnormality he experienced in 2010, which
he said was the result of a parasite that entered his brain and died. .
While speaking on the podcast 'Pushing the Limits with Brian
Shapiro,' Kennedy said the experience involved "brain fog" and
"having trouble with word retrieval and short-term memory.".
According to the Independent presidential
candidate, doctors initially told him they
thought he had a tumor in his brain. .
A second docotor revealed that "this is almost certainly
a parasite that got into your brain … it’s a parasite that’s very
common in India where I had done a lot of environmental work.”.
Stefanie Spear, a spokesperson for Kennedy’s campaign,
said he had “traveled extensively in Africa, South America
and Asia” while working as an environmental advocate.
When asked how the condition could impact his presidential bid,
Spear said, “The issue was resolved more than 10 years ago and he
is in robust physical and mental health. Questioning Mr. Kennedy’s
health is a hilarious suggestion, given his competition.".
In the same podcast, Kennedy detailed another experience
he had with mercury poisoning, which he said occurred
near the same time as the incident with the parisitic worm.
Kennedy said tests revealed "sky high" levels of mercury
in he blood, forcing him to undergo chelation therapy
to have the metals removed from his body.
At the same time, I was having my mercury tested,
and I was getting all kinds of tests, and my mercury
test came back sky high. So, ten times what,
you know, the EPA levels were for blood mercury,
I think it was. They were over ten times what–
what anybody considered safe. And I had that
chelated out and all of that brain fog went away, Robert Kennedy Jr., via CNN.
CNN reports that Kennedy insisted that he has
since made a full recovery from both health scares

The heads of state from Japan, the Philippines, and the United States have jointly expressed "grave concern" regarding China's conduct in the contested South China Sea. Over recent years, Beijing has intensified its presence in this crucial maritime region, leading to heightened tensions, notably with the Philippines. This nation, among others in Southeast Asia, asserts territorial claims over portions of the sea adjacent to its shores. In response to a recent altercation near Second Thomas Shoal that resulted in injuries to Filipino soldiers and damage to vessels, President Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines declared Manila's intention to enact countermeasures against China. The leaders of Japan, the Philippines, and the United States expressed shared concerns over the People's Republic of China's (PRC) provocative actions in the South China Sea during the inaugural summit held in Washington, DC. This joint statement comes amid escalating tensions in the region.

Hamas has been planning to establish a covert base in Turkey and other terror cells to coordinate attacks against Israeli targets, including NATO members, according to a document captured by the IDF in Gaza, reported by The Times. The document, found in the home of a key Hamas leader’s chief of staff, outlines a strategy to create secret bases to bolster resistance forces and conduct intelligence and military operations. The plan includes targeted assassinations, sabotage of Israeli naval vessels, and kidnappings. The Turkish government, supportive of Hamas, labels it a "liberation group." President Erdogan has harshly criticised Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, stating his methods would make "Hitler jealous." Erdogan also announced that over 1,000 Hamas members are being treated in Turkish hospitals and expressed disappointment over Greece’s stance that Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Despite public support, Erdogan denies that Hamas conducts terrorist operations from Turkey.

As the conflict between Russia and Ukraine escalates, a new tactical emblem has been observed on Russian military equipment near Kharkiv. This symbol, characterised by a central square with two overlapping diagonal crosses, indicates a significant escalation in Russia's military operations, particularly in the Kharkiv Region. According to reports from OSINT Defender, this emblem is linked to Russia's renewed border offensive in northeast Ukraine, with Russian forces actively attempting to breach Ukrainian defences, notably around Vovchansk. These symbols serve as identification friend or foe (IFF) measures in conflict zones, aiming to prevent friendly fire. Notably, the 'Z' marking, prominent during the 2022 Ukraine invasion, became a symbol of Russian support for the war effort.

Amidst escalating tensions in the South China Sea, the Philippines has taken a decisive step, deploying ships to a disputed area where it alleges China is constructing an artificial island. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr's office issued a statement confirming the deployment, emphasising the need to monitor what it termed as "supposed illegal activities" by China. Philippine Coast Guard spokesperson Commodore Jay Tarriela corroborated these claims, citing evidence of small-scale reclamation at the Sabina Shoal, known as Escoda by Manila. Despite these assertions, the Chinese embassy in Manila has yet to respond, potentially exacerbating bilateral rifts. The Philippine national security adviser has even called for the expulsion of Chinese diplomats over an alleged leak regarding a phone conversation about the maritime dispute.
