7 dead, at least 30 missing in Myanmar after boat carrying people who fled fighting capsized

Seven confirmed dead and over 30 missing after an overcrowded boat, carrying villagers fleeing from Myanmar conflict, capsized in the Andaman Sea. The boat, intended for 30-40 passengers, was overloaded with 70-75 people and commodities, sinking near Kyauk Kar. Heavy currents and overcrowding are suspected causes.
