But "The Doll" didn’t operate alone. Alongside her arrest, police detained Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, ominously nicknamed "Gorda Sicaria" (Fat Hitwoman), and a third accomplice known as “Leopoldo.” With them, officers seized a cache of weapons, including a revolver and a 9mm pistol, possibly linked to the murders that had terrorized the region.
