US to Denmark: Greenlanders 'don't want to be part of you' anymore

US secretary of state Marco Rubio stated that Greenlanders do not want to remain a part of Denmark and emphasized US concerns about Chinese influence in the region. Rubio highlighted Washington's respect for Greenland's self-determination while cautioning against Chinese economic involvement in Greenland.
