'Terrorist nature': Gunmen target Chinese-built hydroelectric plant in Chile

Gunmen attacked a Chinese-owned hydroelectric power plant under construction in southern Chile, causing extensive damage. The assailants set fire to numerous vehicles and construction equipment at the Rucalhue power plant, a $350 million project by China International Water and Electric Corporation. The attack, which injured two security guards, occurred amidst opposition from Indigenous communities concerned about the project's environmental impact.
