According to Reuters, Johnson promised to take the U.K. out of the European Union on Oct.

The prime minister said he would do it with or without a deal, causing a lot of controversy.

An alliance of opposition lawmakers are plotting with rebels in Johnson’s ruling Conservative Party.

With less than 60 days before the decision, they want to try and block Brexit and delay it three months.
