Attorney General William Barr is considering resigning.

Barr is said to have been considering the option due to President Trump’s tweets about the Justice Department.

Barr has told people close to Trump about his concerns, but it was not immediately clear if Barr had told Trump directly.

Some close to the situation believe Barr may be sharing his position with others in hopes Trump gets the message.

Barr said in an ABC interview that he could not do his job “with a constant background commentary”.

He also said that it was “time to stop the tweeting about Department of Justice criminal cases.” Trump told reporters; “I do make his job harder ... I do agree with that".
