From a tie pin to his satchel, these are Charlie Heaton's travel essentials.

[whistling][hands drumming]- Hi everyone I'm Charlie Heatonand these are my essentials.[energetic music]Are you all gonna pass me themand I'm gonna talk about them? All right. This is a watch, and I feellike every man needs like,a good gentleman's watch.I've had about three different watches;this is a 70's Jaeger.I was 18 and I got my sisters and my Dadto chip in a for a birthday present fora 60s watch, it's beenticking since like 1964,and then I ended upjumping in a pool with itand breaking it, but this is,I think this is my my third one. It's a nice timepiece and it'snice you don't have to lookat your phone the wholetime so it stops youpulling your phone out your pocket.I'm describing to you what a watch does, this is crazy but, yeah, a watch.Sunglasses; these are both Krewe. It's a brand I really like.I just think that these arereally cool, polarized lenses. And yeah, they're cool. These are these. And we have these, and they're great. And, you know, I mean, I don't knowthey're just sunglasses but I like them.[laughs] I don't knowwhat to say about them.I mean you can look at these.I chew them so, biteall the ends of these. They're completely chewed off.And the same with this one here.Yeah I'm really terrible with them. They're pretty scratched as well.I'm really bad atlooking after sunglasses. But yeah, mainly just chewing themwhen I'm kind of thinking,or just standing. This is pretty, like, it's just a littlespecial kind of thingI carry around with me.It's a little tie pin with a bow on it.But my sister got me it for Christmasand she kind of wrote a note about it.Basically it's just akind, it's like a mementoof like, to remind methat life comes in waves.Like you know, yourfeelings and your anxietiesor your kind of, whateveryou're doing, it comes in waves. So, just to kind of, you know, keep that on you and, yeah.I thought it was reallysweet little token.Sometimes I'll wear iton my first day of setjust to keep me calm.- [Interviewer] Do you keep it, like,in a back pocket or something?- No, I'll just literallylike, stuff it on to,like, you know, a jacketor a jumper or whatever. The most probably importantessential that I own.I am an advent Arsenalfan, so wherever I amdoesn't matter what time it is,when they're playing I haveto get up and watch the game.- [Interviewer] How many generationsof Arsenal fans are in your family?- I'm the first one, cause I'm from Yorkshire. So my dad and most of myfamily are Leeds fans.I wasn't into football untilI was roughly around 16,and I'd moved to London, they were the first team I watched, and I used to play FIFAa lot with my friends, and they were the team I always pick,so they just naturallybecame and became my team. We're not doing that great at the moment. So it's kinda hard to bean Arsenal fan right now. But, I really like this jersey too.Am I calling it a jersey?Did I call it a jersey? It's definitely a shirt,a football shirt, yeah. This is my satchel bag.Again, a gift from my sisterfor my 18th Christmas present. And yeah, I use it everyday. And it's leather, so it's great,'cause the longer you useit, the better it gets. What's in it?I mean, mainly I'll justcarry, like, my computer,I always have a book.Right now it's Wonderland Avenuewhich is a Danny Sugerman book, and a notebook, whichis just for notes, yeah. And my glasses, they'represcription glasses. So there you go.I've got a shaver in here at the moment.[shaver whirs] Yeah, I don't know. These are my Supergas.Again, it's just somethingthat I constantly carry around.Like, you know my shoes willswitch but I'll keep theseand I'll just, I mean they, you know, you can stick them in thewash or you just kind of.They're relatively cheap, soI just keep buying a new pair. But I wear a lot of trousersand it's nice to kind ofdress them down withjust a pair of trainers.[upbeat music]Aftershave, or American cologne.Yeah I have two, this is like, the one that I have beenwearing since I was about 18.It's Prada Milano. It's kind of very clean and talcy. This one is the Le LaboSantal, which is somethingthat I've just been introducedto and it's travel size.- [Interviewer] So what made you try Pradaas your first cologne?- My sister's boyfriend woreit and I used to steal it.This is when I had no money and I used tosteal everything that he had.He lived upstairs, soI'd steal his clothes, and I stole a watch from him,and I'd steal his perfume. And, yeah, when I first got oneof my first, like, paychecksit was one of the firstthings that I bought. The thing about scents, which I think is amazing,is no filter; it goes straightto, kind of, the brainand the memory bank so,you smell like, a specificperfume and you can be likewalking down the streetand you smell something and it willremind you of that specific person. They'll be walking and I'll be like,"Oh God, that smellslike an ex-girlfriend,"And you're like [exhales], you know?[spraying perfume]Can you smell it?Can you guys smell it?I was against gettingBeats cause I know they'rekind of really popular and you know, they're such a well known brand. But, I ended up buying themand they have changed my life, and the best thing aboutthese is the battery life. They've got something like36 hours of battery life,so I charge them like oncea month and they work great. And they're kind of noisecanceling, which is good.Like, yeah, everything goes really quiet. And also, they're goodif it's cold as well. They act as earmuffs.Traveling, I listen to music all the time,so I pretty much have these around my neckmost of the time.- [Interviewer] What are youlistening to right now?- Big Thief, something Iquite like at the moment.- [Interviewer] Did yougrow up on a lot of rock?- Uh, yeah, when I was younger I did.I used to play in bands and my dad,he's a big Beatles fan,so I grew up on a lot ofBeatles and you kind offind your own way in music. This is my electric toothbrush.Just traveling all the time yougotta keep your teeth clean. It's so much better than a manual, and it changed my life every time I brush,so yeah, yeah it's good.- [Interviewer] When do youprefer to brush your teeth? After every meal?- After every meal?Night and morning, two minutes each time.It has a little thing on itactually, where it like vibratesa certain way when you'vedone your two minutes,so it's pretty cool.[laughs]Thank you for checking out my essentials.Yeah thanks for watching.
