With many people turning to their faith during these extraordinary times, religious groups have to make changes like going online.

Impacted every aspect of our daily lives... including the way we worship.

Kimt news three's maleeha kamal is checking in with religious groups to see how they're adjusting.xxx look live: during hard times many of us tend to turn to our faith for clarity and comfort.

But guidelines set by government that calls for social distancing has institutions like the chabad of southern minnesota rethinking worship.

The threat of the coronavirus has the most devoted practicing social distancing.

Usually on sundays church bells can be heard ringing on this block á but this weekend there's just silence.

These institutions may be empty but it hasn't stopped worshiping.

Pastor mueller: "our church has tried things from facebook live for having prayer meetings to have zoom meetings where we are praying and worshiping together."

Dan mueller is a pastor at bethlehem church in austin.

He says many of us have come accustomed to worshiping in large groups.

But moving things online is a blessing in disguise.

Pastor mueller: "it allows us to break down the walls and barriers.

And getting out beyond dominations beyond churches and background and some of our meetings have people all over the county wanting to praying together.

Rabbi dovid greene agrees.

Rabbi greene "this is meeting them where they are at.

We are all in this together.

Both religious leaders say this is a time to recalibrate and rely on your faith.

In some ways this has turned into a time of getting back to the basics of worshiping in the purest form.

Rabbi greene: "my take is that god wants everything to be holy now.

" pastor mueller: "and its kind of return to the first century church and some sense and small settings in your own homes and also going beyond the barriers.
