Doctors diagnose first case of Coronavirus in Alcorn County

Magnolia Medical announced Friday the first case of Coronavirus in Alcorn County.

Center posted a notice on its facebook page friday morning.

The post said a person tested positive for covid-19 at the hospital in alcorn county however, the state mississippi department of health did not include that case in its weekend's numbers.

This caused a bit of confusion for residents of that county.

Some of them were wondering how come the state did not include alcorn county hospital leaders summed it up best by saying the state is behind on its reporting tishomingo county
