Retired RCMP officer lifts sewer cover and saves baby ducklings

An unplanned trip for a bottle of wine helped save three ducklings in South Surrey, British Columbia.

After arriving home, Shauna had witnessed new baby ducklings following their proud mother.

When she went out to take a few pictures, she had realized that they were in danger and called her husband to the rescue.

The retired RCMP officer was able to lift the very heavy sewer grate and rescued the babies!
