FOX WITH SEA LION MALIE STORY: Malie, an Australian sea lion, went for a walk around an empty Taronga Zoo Sydney on Tuesday (April 21).

Zoo keeper Danielle Fox walked around with Malie as part of his exercise and enrichment program.

The 18-year-old Malie is a zoo favourite and he used to make his regular appearances in the Seal For the Wild Presentation.

Currently, he weighs about 170kg but his weight can fluctuate depending on the time of the year between 1707kg-300kg, Malie will start to put grow in size as it comes into winter.

The Australian sea lion is an endangered species found only in Australia.
