Briefing about the Ghaziabad candle factory blast District Magistrate stated that ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to kin of deceased has been announced. "A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the matter. An ex gratia of Rs 4 lakhs each will be provided to the kin of the deceased. Free treatment and Rs 50,000 each as financial aid will be provided to injured," said DM Ajay Shankar Pandey. At least 7 people died while 4 were injured in an explosion at a factory in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on July 05. The incident happened in candle factory at Modinagar.
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath on July 05 stated that state government have achieved the goal of planting 25 crore saplings in one day. Our target to plant more than 35 crore trees in the state in my tenure, he added. He said, "I am happy that we have achieved our goal of planting 25 crore saplings in one day."
