Fayette County Coronavirus Cases

Fayette county is seeing a spike in confirmed coronavirus cases... and it's coming from a familiar source.

The health department reported twenty- eight new covid-19 caseswednesday.

That's the largest single-day jump in fayette county in weeks.

Of those twenty- eight cases ... twenty were from the federal medical center in lexington.

Health officals say there are now six- hundred-seventy- three confirmed cases.

That includes the two hundred-sixty- eight cases at the medical center.

Of the thirteen people who have died in fayette county from the virus....
