Uttarakhand govt shut Dehradun on weekends amid rising COVID-19 cases

Dehradun remains shut as state government has decided to keep the city closed except for essential goods and services for two days in a week- Saturday and Sunday.

While speaking to ANI, the SP of Dehradun city, Shweta Choubey said, "We have barricaded various locations and deployed police personnel in adequate numbers." There are 1215 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Uttarakhand.
