Newly-weds donate 50 beds to COVID care centre in Mumbai

The cases of coronavirus are increasing in the country in a rapid speed.

People have come out to fight the deadly virus and help the government through their donations.

A newly-wed couple, Eric and Merlin from Mumbai's Vasai donated 50 beds to a quarantine centre on their wedding day.

The couple donated 50 beds with mattresses and pillows and oxygen cylinders.

Maharashtra is the worst affected state due to COVID-19 in the country with over 1.3 lakh positive cases and 6283 deaths.

On July 05, India reported the highest single-day spike of 24,850 new COVID-19 cases and 613 deaths in the last 24 hours. As of now, positive cases stand at 6,73,165 including 2,44,814 active cases, 4,09,083 cured/discharged/migrated and 19,268 deaths.
