‘Salary cap of Rs 2 lakh for Indian coaches removed’: Kiren Rijiju

Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said that government has removed the salary cap of Rs 2 lakhs for Indian coaches training elite athletes.

He also said the contract of all Indian coaches will be drawn up for four years.

He said, “We have some coaches who can actually give world-class coaching but Rs 2lakh salary cap was like discrimination.” Watch the full video for more.
