Mississippi ABC decides to not temporarily pause orders

The Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) will not pause all new liquor orders and special orders until Monday, July 20.

An about face by mississippi alcohol beverage control.

We told you on w-t-v-a nine news at noon the agency sent this message to liquor stores saying it would stop providing liquor to them for two weeks so it could get caught up on its supply.

There's apparently so much demand for liquor that a-b-c didn't have enough to fulfill orders by the stores.

Then this afternoon, the agency posted this message to its facebook page, saying in essence -- never mind.

There won't be a two-week pause.

A-b-c's order system is back online, but the agency did tell stores they may not get their orders filled for one week or more.
