Congress party has revoked the suspension of MLAs Bhanwar Lal Sharma and Vishvendra Singh. Speaking on it, Vishvendra Singh said, "Reality is before you. Whatever we went through for a month is no secret but we maintained our dignity and no one amongst us said anything. Allegations were levelled and cases were filed against us. I say it clearly that I was, am and will always be in Congress party." The two MLAs were suspended from the primary membership of the party for their alleged involvement in a conspiracy to topple the Ashok Gehlot-led Rajasthan government.
Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on August 13 called Plasma therapy an effective mode of treatment for COVID-19. He said, "Plasma therapy is an effective mode of treatment for COVID-19. I urge all the people in the state, who have defeated Corona, to come forward and donate their blood plasma so that COVID patients can get a new life through plasma therapy."

He said,"The people who had left have now returned, we have no issues in proving majority. All the MLAs will go to Hotel Fairmont and go to State Assembly on August 14, from there. We are prepared for every situation."

He had said if audio is proven to be false, he'll retire from politics. After this, Gajendra Singh, Gulab Chand Kataria, Satish Poonia, Rajendra Rathore declared the audio to be false. Can they give a statement like CM? Narendra Modi and Amit Shah should come to the front, they should say if they will resign. The CM has said clearly," said Khachariyawas.

Congress leaders, including Sachin Pilot were present in the meeting. After CLP meeting, MLA Vishvendra Singh said, "There's nothing to say. Congress stands united. All is well that ends well. It's ended on a very good note. If BJP wants, they can bring no-confidence motion tomorrow, it is their job. CM has said that if anyone has any complaint they can meet him, whenever they want."

Congress leader Sachin Pilot met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at his residence for the Congress Legislature Party meet. This was the first time the two leaders came face to face after a month-long freeze in ties following Pilot's rebellion against the state government. Several other Congress MLAs also arrived at Gehlot's residence to attend the meeting which has been scheduled a day ahead of the special session of the Rajasthan Assembly on Friday. Earlier in the day, Gehlot said whatever misunderstanding occurred within the Congress party in the last one month, needs to be forgiven and forgotten. Last month, Pilot was removed as Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the state Congress chief after he led a rebellion against the Gehlot led government. The reconciliation came after Pilot met Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi earlier in the week. Meanwhile, BJP also held a legislature party meeting which was also attended by former CM Vasundhara Raje.
