Three dead after standoff in Yalobusha County

Two women and one man are dead after a hostage situation turned violent in Yalobusha County Sunday night.

Weekend in north mississippi law enforcement said three people are dead after an hours long standoff in yalobusha county law enforcement said the standoff ended early this morning at home on highway 32 east deputies found two women shot to death and said the shooter was still inside the barricaded home.

Several law enforcement agencies tried to negotiate with the man to surrender but they said he took his life.
