As many as 40 stranded Indian fishermen returned from Iran on July 15.
The fishermen were stuck in Iran for over four months since lockdown was announced.
Fishermen belong to different districts of Tamil Nadu.
They were handed over to their respective district officials.
Tamil Nadu is among the high-Covid states with over 1,51,800 infections.
