Ford is unleashing two four-legged robots in Michigan plant

Meet Fluffy and Spot, Ford’s new robo-dogs, the newest addition to Ford Motor Company’s manufacturing pilot program designed to save time, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.

Ford will be using the four-legged robots at its Van DykeTransmission Plant in early August.

The bots will help scan the Van Dyke Transmission Plant in Michigan.

These scans will assist Ford in documenting and assessing the plant and help plan any future retooling, builds and upgrades.
