Former Bajrang Dal prez hands over 'jal kalash', holy soil at Ayodhya Temple ahead of 'bhoomi pujan'

Former president of Bajrang Dal and former education minister of Madhya Pradesh, Jaybhan Singh Pawaiya reached at Chhoti Chhawni Mani Das Ram Temple in UP's Ayodhya on August 04.

He carried a 'jal kalash' from Chambal and holy soil of Pitambara Sidha Peetha and handed it over to Mahant Nritya Gopal Das Ji Maharaj at Chhoti Chhawni Mani Das Ram Temple.

The foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Temple is scheduled to be held on August 05.

Only 200 people will be allowed to present at the temple premises.

Farmers have escalated their protests against the three agriculture bills that have been passed by the Modi government. Adequate security has been deployed by the UP government to ensure that farmers do no enter Lucknow city. Meanwhile, RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav was seen driving a tractor during the protest against the farmer bills. Farmers are apprehensive that the entry of corporate in the agriculture sector will reduce their power to negotiate fair prices and also fear that the system of MSP will eventually be diluted. Four people died and nine were injured in a collision at NH 28 highway in Ayodhya. A police official said, "9 people were injured after a collision between a tempo and a truck. The injured were taken to the hospital where 4 of them were declared brought dead.
