Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created replica of Ram Temple on Puri beach ahead of stone laying foundation ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya on August 05.

The event will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Various dignitaries from political and religious fields are likely to participate.

There is also a message written on that bat," Pattnaik said. 'Captain Cool' announced his retirement via an Instagram post. India's one of the finest captains left swarm of his fans heartbroken with the announcement.

Acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created sand art of cricketers in Odisha's Puri to pay homage on August 16. Padma Shri Awardee created the art with a message- 'Will miss your amazing shots incredible Dhoni and amazing Raina'. Around 3 tonnes of sand was used for creating the amazing art.

The BJP president said that the Mamata Banerjee government’s anti-Hindu stance needs to be exposed in front of the people of the state. He said that the BJP had been making constant strides in terms of vote percentage in the state and urged people to throw away the Trinamool government in the state and bring the BJP to power. Farmers have escalated their protests against the three agriculture bills that have been passed by the Modi government. Farmers body Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee continued its ‘rail-roko’ agitation in different parts of Punjab. 31 farmer groups have come under the aegis of the Bharatiya Kisan Union to protest against the bills. Several organisations in Haryana, including the BKU, have also extended support to the nationwide strike called by some farmers' bodies against the bills. In the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway, farmers were seen burning husk and chanting slogans against the Modi government and demanding the withdrawal of the contentious bills . Adequate security has been deployed by the UP government to ensure that farmers do no enter Lucknow city. Farmers are apprehensive that the entry of corporate in the agriculture sector will reduce their power to negotiate fair prices and also fear that the system of MSP will eventually be diluted. Four people died and nine were injured in a collision at NH 28 highway in Ayodhya. Two injured have been refereed to Lucknow for primary treatment while the remaining have been admitted in the district hospital. The incident took place at around 5 am on September 20. A police official said, "9 people were injured after a collision between a tempo and a truck. The injured were taken to the hospital where 4 of them were declared brought dead. Investigation is underway."
