Central Tibetan Administration observes 'World Breastfeeding Week' in Dharamshala
The Department of Health, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) observed the World Breastfeeding Week in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala.
World Breastfeeding Week began from August 01 and it will end on August 07.
A 5-minute video was screened to spread awareness on breastfeeding theme.
Every year Health Department organise this week to educate expecting mothers about the significance of breastfeeding and its long term health benefits for the child as well as for the mother.
The event began with the announcement of winners and screening of their video presentations.
