A wild owl had to be rescued after getting tangled in a plastic net attached to a broken house near Bangiriposhi Bazaar in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.

A wild owl had to be rescued after getting tangled in a plastic net attached to a broken house near Bangiriposhi Bazaar in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.

On Saturday evening (August 8), Preetish Kumar, a local journalist, spotted the distressed animal when returning to his home.

He immediately called for assistance, and a group of local villagers cut the net with scissors, releasing the owl after its rescue.
