A British nine-year-old is one of the world's best mountain bikers and performs massive jumps of nearly 50ft - on his own race track.Talented Henry Ruskin is pictured flying through the air and already rides with children much older than him.He learnt to how to pedal just over three years ago and is now thought to be among one of the top young bikers on the planet. The young daredevil has already conquered huge jumps in the French Alps alongside dad Simon - in spots known for their difficulty and danger.Henry is now trying to increase his social media following to attract more sponsors and hopes to make a career from the sport. He practises on a track owned by his family near to their home in Witcombe, Glos., the Flyup 417 Bike Park - where he landed his biggest jump.Simon, 44, said: "The biggest jumps in this country, they are about 45 to 50ft.

He landed the 47ft one at our place."He also did a big 40ft jump in France.

That was a big achievement - no one expected him to do that."There have been lots of crashes and injuries [at the jump site] and I let him go - and he managed to clear it."He was about five-and-half-years-old when he learnt to ride.

A friend taught him in an afternoon.

He doesn't do downhill - it's dirt jump and freeriding."We haven't given him any coaching and he's got quite good.It got to the point where he was riding with the teens and it just went from there."It's difficult; you have to be careful as a parent about you do and don't say.

But, as a nine-year-old, I'd say he's at least top ten in the world - or even top five."Henry is already has several sponsors including Fox, Propane Bikes and Hello Blue.He also has a following on social media, particularly on Instgram - where he can be found @flyuphenry.Dad-of-five Simon added: "I run his account but I only post what he wants.

Nowadays it's 50 per cent riding and 50 per cent social media."Sponsors are really interested in him.

He's definitely looking for a career in the sport."I go out with him probably twice a week, if I can.

We live on the bike park.

He rides with kids older than him."People will say, 'oh, of course he will be good' - but he gets a bit bored of it.

He's out three or four times a week."
