Baby gorilla shows 'strong grip' in mother's arms in Bristol
A baby gorilla is thriving four weeks after being born at Bristol Zoo Gardens.The tiny western lowland gorilla was born to mother Kala and father Jock lastmonth.
It arrived almost a year after Kala lost her first baby afterundergoing an emergency Caesarean.
Keepers say the baby is very alert andlooking around but still sleeping a lot in Kalaβs arms. They regularly see thebaby feeding and it is growing well.
