Anurag Kashyap: Case filed over actress Payal Ghosh's complaint | Oneindia News
Trouble mounts for Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap as he has been charged with rapecase in a police case in Mumbai on the complaint of actor Payal Ghosh who had accused him of forcing himself on her in a tweet on Saturday.
This comes as Anurag Kashyap has dismissed all the allegations levelled against him as completely baseless.
According to the Mumbai Police, a rapecase was filed against the acclaimed producer-director late last night after the actress and her lawyer approached the Versova police station.
The filmmaker will be called for questioning in this connection.
On Saturday after the actress tagged the Prime Minister's Office seeking action against Kashyap, National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma had responded saying that she would look into the matter.
