Illinois state police have just announced the arrest of rick meador.

He was wanted in the murder of kyle johnson in olney, illinois.

It happened earlier this month.

The victim died after being shot multiple times.

Officers found meador in florida.

Officers took a 16-year-old girl into custody as well.

She was from olney.

She was listed as missing and endangered in connection with the murder investigation.
