LJP Chief Chirag Paswan has said that that Nitish Kumar’s time as Chief Minister is up and he will not return to power.
Chirag Paswan said that the BJP and LJP would form government in the state after election and added that it would work for development in the state.
Paswan further attacked the Chief Minister saying that people have not forgotten how he treated the migrant labourers during the Covid crisis and lockdown and also lashed out at him over the recent firing incident in Munger where one person was killed.
The first phase of polling was held in Bihar on 28th of October and witnessed a turnout of around 54.26 percent.
The next two phase are scheduled to be held on 3rd & 7th of November and the result will be declared on 10th of November.
The major battle is between the Nitish Kumar led NDA and Tejsashwi Yadav led Mahagathbandhan.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on January 17 met the family of IndiGo airlines station manager Rupesh Singh who was shot dead outside his residence in the city on January 12. Tejashwi met the parents of Rupesh Singh in Chhapra. The RJD leader has continuously criticising Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the law and order situation in wake of the IndiGo station manager's murder, and also asserted that Bihar is becoming the crime capital of the country. Tejashwi today also urged the CM with "folded hands" to control the crime rate in the state.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi filed his nomination for Rajya Sabha by-election as an NDA (National Democratic Alliance) candidate in Patna on December 02. He was accompanied by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. He said, "Sushil Modi has our full support." Voting for Rajya Sabha by-election is scheduled on December 14. The seat was left vacant after demise of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader and former union minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao on Tuesday claimed that it was during Congress' regime China occupied Sumdorong Chu Valley in Tawang and added that the then Army Chief planned an operation but former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi denied him permission to push back People's Liberation Army troops. On the killing of IndiGo manager in Patna, Bihar DGP SK Singhal said, "An important aspect which has emerged is that there was a conflict over airport parking contract. Prima facie it appears that the incident occurred due to this reason. It's clear that contract killers were hired for it." On evening of January 12, IndiGo station manager Rupesh Kumar Singh was shot dead outside his residence in Patna. The incident brought the law and order situation of Bihar in question once again.

JDU leader KC Tyagi lashed out at the BJP over the defection of 6 JDU MLAs to the BJP in Arunachal Pradesh. ‘We express anguish over six JD (U) MLAs from Arunachal Pradesh joining BJP.
