The BJP has made it clear that there is no question of replacing Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister of Bihar, after it has emerged as the big brother in the alliance with the JDU.

The BJP won 74 of Bihar's 243 seats, taking the NDA's tally past the majority mark, while Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United was restricted to 43.

BJP has gained an upper hand for the first time in the state where it has never had a Chief Minister.

US recorded more than 2 Lakh cases of Coronavirus on Tuesday.

Lok Janshakti Party Chief Chirag Paswan has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the BJP's better-than-expected performance in the Bihar election.
