Many farmers from Punjab have been staying away from families to protest against Centre's farm laws.

A farmer celebrated the first birthday of his daughter by cutting cakes at Tikri border.

The agitating farmers decorated the protest site with colourful balloons and posters.

Farmers put up a poster wishing the birthday girl, Sidak and displayed her photo with her family.

They gathered together at a demonstration site, cut cakes and sang a birthday song for Sidak.

The family of farmer Jagat Singh also celebrated their one-year-old kid's birthday back home.

Hundreds of farmers have been protesting on the outskirts of Delhi since November 26.

The government has held six rounds of talks with farmers' organisations offering changes to the laws.

Farmers are firm with their demand that the Centre should repeal the three new farm laws.
