[NFA] Pharmacies in Britain will begin administering the COVID-19 vaccination on Thursday, the government said, as it seeks to accelerate the rollout of shots to millions of people a week to meet an ambitious delivery target.
According to the Health Ministry, total of 15,82,201 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in India for COVID-19. India reported 14,849 new COVID-19 cases and 15, 948 discharges on January 23. With new infections, the COVID tally of the country stood at 1,06,54,533. Which includes 1,84,408 active cases. 1,03,16,786 patients have been discharged across the country. With 155 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll rose to 1,53,339.
Fewer than half of the nearly 38 million vaccine doses shipped to date by the federal government have actually made it into the arms of Americans, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Thursday.
