Delhi-NCR woke up to foggy morning on February 13. A thick layer of fog covered parts of Delhi and almost zero visibility was witnessed in the national capital. Even, DND flyway in Noida was covered with thick layer of fog. Similar situation was witnessed in Ghazipur-Ghaziabad Border as well. According to IMD, dense to very Dense Fog is very likely over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP on Feb 13 to Feb 15.
Delhi Police has deployed additional security in view of 'chakka jam' called by farmers. Police intensified vigil at city borders to deal with situation arising out of 'chakka jam’. This comes after Republic Day violence that had left over 500 security personnel injured. Farmers agitating against Centre's three farm laws are set to block roads and highways from 12 noon to 3pm in a bid to intensify protest.

2 people died after a family residing in Ghaziabad was attacked inside their house on February 06. 5 people were present in the house which included 2 women and 3 children. A class 11 student jumped off his 15th-floor apartment and died in UP's Noida. The teen was allegedly battling depression due to his physical looks, skin complexion. The local Sector 49 police station was alerted around 5 am about the incident. Police said the body was sent for autopsy and no complaint has been made by the family. Ranvijay Singh, ADCP, Noida said, “A 17-year-old kid jumped off his apartment and died in Noida Sector 78. His parents said their son had been battling depression due to his skin complexion. The boy's parents were living separately and he was staying with his father.”

A 17-year-old boy committed suicide by jumping from the 15th floor of his society in Noida sector-49 on March 06, said city's ADCP (Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police) Ranvijay Singh who also informed that the teenager's father suspected his son's inferiority complex of his dark skin the cause for the harsh step. Singh added that the parents of the 17-year-old had separated, and this angle is also being investigated, however, no such statement has been made by anyone so far.
An encounter broke out between police and miscreants in Greater Noida on February 14. Around 3 criminals were arrested by police. Two cars, one buffalo, cartridges and Rs. 20 thousand were recovered from the culprits. One of the miscreants had a reward of Rs. 25 thousand. All three of them had multiple robbery cases under their name.

UP Police reached Mumbai to conduct a probe into the case lodged against web series 'Tandav'. The four-member team arrived at the residence of 'Tandav' director Ali Abbas Zafar. Issuing notice, UP Police asked Zafar to be present before the Investigation Officer on January 27. 'Tandav' landed in controversy for allegedly 'hurting religious sentiments'. At least three FIRs have been lodged against the makers and artists of 'Tandav'. The FIRs have been registered in UP's Lucknow, Greater Noida and Shahjahanpur. 'Tandav', a nine-episode political thriller, started streaming on Amazon Prime last week. The web series stars Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub among others.
