Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended Startup Manthan 2021 in Bengaluru. Speaking at the event, Rajnath Singh said, "More than 1,200 start-ups and innovators have participated in Defence India Start-up Challenge (DISC) and out of these more than 60 start-ups in 30 technological areas under DISC challenges." "45 Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who have participated in Aero India have already got orders worth Rs 203 crore," Defence Minister added.
HAL chief R Madhavan spoke on the timeline of delivery of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas. Madhavan said they will deliver the first aircraft to Indian Air Force by March 2024. "As per contract, we are to start delivery of LAC by 36 months from today. The first delivery of Light Combat Aircraft will be by March 2024. In the first year, there will be delivery of two aircraft which will be ramped up to 16. Total supply time, post first delivery is 6 years that makes total timeline for 9 years," he said. This comes after the Defence Ministry handed over the LCA Tejas contract to HAL at Aero India show in Bengaluru. HAL to manufacture 83 LCA mark 1A aircraft which is the advanced version of Tejas.

A giant structure of Lord Rama has been created by an organisation in Bengaluru. Rashtra Dharma trust has placed a structure of the Almighty near Lalbagh West Gate in Bengaluru city. They have used total 60,000 coins of Re 1 and Rs 5 to create this masterpiece. 60,000 coins worth the value of around Rs 2 Lakh has been used while creating the structure of Lord Rama.
