‘Will not take responsibility of violence at Red Fort’: BKU’s Rakesh Tikait

National spokesperson of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU), Rakesh Tikait said that they will not take any responsibility of the violence at Red Fort on Republic Day.

While speaking on the violence that occurred during farmers’ tractor rally in the national capital, he said, “We will not take responsibility of whatever happened at Red Fort on January 26.

Police should do their investigation in this regard.” He added, “Our protest will continue.

They must take action against those who have created chaos at the Red Fort.” Meanwhile, security has been beefed up around the Red Fort after the violence.

This comes after violent protestors stormed the Ref Fort and hoisted flags from its ramparts.

The tractor rally carried out by farmers turned violent on January 26.

Several farmers and cops were injured during the violence.
