New York Times columnist Nick Kristof says he penned “a letter to my conservative friends” after hearing their undue fears.

He says conservative media is scamming its audience.

It’s important to have “sensible right-wing critics,” he says, but “that doesn’t mean that we need extremists who are preaching things that end up killing people.”
