‘Welcome steps to improve Indian markets’ efficiency’: US on farmers’ protest
The United States of America has responded on the farmers’ agitations in India.
‘In general, the United States welcomes steps that would improve the efficiency of India's markets and attract greater private sector investment.
We recognise that peaceful protests are a hallmark of any thriving democracy and note that the Indian Supreme Court has stated the same,’ a US State Department spokesperson said.
This comes after the Indian government released a comprehensive statement to counter some tweets by global celebrities.
Farmers in India have been protesting against the three laws passed by the Modi government.
The farmers insist that the laws will be detrimental to farmers and benefit corporate.

The resolution would have made Palestine
the 194th member of the United Nations. .
Deputy Ambassador Robert Wood stressed to the
Security Council that the U.S. veto of the resolution... .
... “does not reflect opposition to Palestinian statehood
but instead is an acknowledgment that it will only
come from direct negotiations between the parties.”.
Similarly, deputy State Department
spokesman Vedant Patel said that the U.S. has...
... “been very clear consistently that premature actions
in New York — even with the best intentions — will
not achieve statehood for the Palestinian people.”.
In response to the failed vote, Palestinian U.N.
Ambassador Riyad Mansour told the council that
the decision would not deter the Palestinian people.
The fact that this resolution did not

We will not stop in our effort.
