Police seized 2,400 bottles of illicit alcohol being smuggled into southern India on February 10.

The incident took place in the Pedakurapadu constituency of the Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

The incident took place in the Pedakurapadu constituency of the Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

Footage shows officials lining up the 2,400 bottles of smuggled liquor, worth an estimated $4,945.63, in multiple rows and spreading them over.

The liquor was brought to be distributed in the wake of the election.

However, the Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) officers seized the bottles belonging to Telangana and detained two offenders.
