The video, filmed in the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province on February 25, shows an around 56-tonne whale carcass being lifted up from the sea by cranes and transported away on a truck.
According to reports, the whale was dead for several days.
It has been handed over to the local Fisheries Administration Office and the workers said the whale will be used for scientific research and display.
