Covid-19: How many health workers have been vaccinated in India? Centre informs

Centre informed on the number of health workers vaccinated during the first phase of inoculation.

Union Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that 70 per cent of health workers have been given the second dose of vaccine.

India started the vaccination drive on January 16 this year.

In the first phase, frontline workers and healthcare workers were given priority.
